Green Wood
| A very quiet and private wood, overlooking fields to the
east, and including its own broad level avenue extending to over 200 metres
in length. The trees are tall, mature chestnut coppice, interspersed with
slender birch, with a fair scattering of maturing oaks. The ground under the
trees is level, and there is a clearing centrally approached by a cleared
path. |
