Beech Mast Wood
Set in a formerly ancient mixed broadleaved woodland and heath land known as Old Park Wood, Beech Mast Wood has so many different qualities. There is an extensive area of Scots pine- some of the best specimens we have seen in Kent. Chestnut coppice and oak form a major part of the northern sector of the wood, along with some birch and holly, but you will also come across a few magnificent old beech trees which always add such character to a wood. Beech Mast wood has good access tracks and is generally quite level and well drained.
